Channel 6 WTVR Specialty Cake For the cast

I had decided to make this cake because of how much I appreciate the hard work that they do at Channel 6 Richmond. I wanted it to be a surprise for the hosts Cheryl Miller and Greg McQuade. We presented it near the end of the segment. They were suprised! After the program went off the air I found out that they had never been given a special cake with their logo, so I was glad that we did this for them.

The time flew by and there were lots of questions. It was an enjoyable time and the whole family showed up. Everyone at the CBS 6 WTVR Richmond, VA was a pleasure to meet and work with.

Virginia This Morning WTVR 6 Appearance

So….There I was, just checking the emails for the business. I came upon an email from Channel 6 News in Richmond, VA about an appearance on their show Virginia This Morning. First I was so excited and nervous all at the same time and now I am just excited! The program airs in the mornings Monday through Friday from 9 to 10 a.m. We have scheduled the date for Monday, March 1, 2010. The segment that I will be doing will last about 5 minutes and I haven’t been given a time slot, so WATCH the Whole show, until further notice. I will be sharing some Spring decorating tips or ideas to Greg McQuade and Cheryl Miller….and all of you out there in TV/Internet land!

Cake competition this March in Fairfax,VA

This is not a Food Network competition, but Norm Davis, who has competed on cake challenges on the Food Network, will be there.This will be our first contest and can’t wait to see what will come of it!
