Channel 6 WTVR Specialty Cake For the cast
I had decided to make this cake because of how much I appreciate the hard work that they do at Channel 6 Richmond. I wanted it to be a surprise for the hosts Cheryl Miller and Greg McQuade. We presented it near the end of the segment. They were suprised! After the program went off the air I found out that they had never been given a special cake with their logo, so I was glad that we did this for them.
Here is a link to view our special appearance on Virginia This Morning which aired Monday, March 1, 2010. Mary taught Greg McQuade and Cheryl Miller how to make fondant daisies. The time flew by and there were lots of questions. It was an enjoyable time and the whole family showed up. Everyone at the CBS 6 WTVR Richmond, VA was a pleasure to meet and work with.
The tones of this cake are just romantic and antique! Not to say the person you may give this to is antique, but just very beautiful and someone you adore!

Special Engagement Ring Cake
This special bridal shower cake was given by the sister of the bride. She wanted to incorporate the heirloom engagement ring that was given to her sister. The ring is hand made and edible to match it. Pretty cool! These colors mesh together really well too.
A Big Cupcake
This cake is covered with buttercream icing and had fondant accessories, including the striping of the cupcake paper cup.
Strawberry Short Cake With Bows
A 2-tiered birthday cake featuring strawberries shooting out of it, with pink and green fondant bows on each tier. This was made for my daughter when she turned 2. She loves Strawberry Shortcake.
